Dateline: 1559, Yorkshire, England

"Ursula Sontheil reputedly was born in 1488 in Norfolk, England. From an early age she exhibited stunning psychic gifts of foresight and prophecy. She was a contemporary of Nostradamus, but, being a woman, was not allowed his level of education and lacked his medical and astrological training and the forbearance of royal friends at court to nurture and protect her. At the ripe old age of 24 she entered a difficult marriage to Toby Shipton.

She correctly predicted the dissolution of the Catholic Church under Henry VIII, the fall of Cardinal Wolsey, the untimely death of Henry’s son Edward VI, the horrific reign of “Bloody” Mary I, and the ascent of Queen Elizabeth to the throne of England. Many of her visions came true with shocking and specific clarity within her own lifetime and then in subsequent centuries as she peered down the corridors of Time to view the fate of Earth and all mankind. She became the feared and revered prophet of Tudor England. Her name was spoken in low, hushed whispers, as if the very mention of her name would bring the disasters she spoke of down upon the head of he that spoke them. She eventually became known to serf and lord alike as Mother Shipton." (see http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/esp_shipton01.htm)

In 1559 Mother Shipton  published an epic poem for which she would become best known down through the ages. She died in Clifton, Yorkshire, in 1561.

This rare collection of Mother Shipton’s prophecies was published thirty years ago. They were found by a woman who painstakingly transcribed them and managed to smuggle them out of the Mitchell Library, in Sydney, Australia (now the State Library of New South Wales). The originals were kept in a locked room, along with many other volumes of prophetic writings deemed unsuitable for viewing by the general public.

"And now a word, in uncouth rhyme of what shall be in future time:"

  • "Then upside down the world shall be And gold found at the root of tree All England’s sons that plough the land Shall oft be seen with Book in hand The poor shall now great wisdom know Great houses stand in far flung vale All covered o’er with snow and hail."

  • "A carriage without horse will go, Disaster fill the world with woe. In London, Primrose Hill shall be In center hold a bishops sea."

  • note: librairies, modern books by the printing press,  the beginning of the invention of the automobile. And King Henry the 8th creating the Church of England as the head of the church for tithe money and power.

  • "Around the world men’s thoughts will fly, Quick as the twinkling of an eye. And water shall great wonders do, How strange, and yet it shall come true."

  • "Through towering hills proud men shall ride, No horse or ass move by his side. Beneath the water, men shall walk, Shall ride, shall sleep, shall even talk."

  • note: The internet, TV, telephones, radio, modern skycraper buildings, cars, submarines,underwater scuba gear.

  • "And in the air men shall be seen, In white and black and even green. A great man, shall come and go For prophecy declares it so."

  • "In water, iron then shall float As easy as a wooden boat. Gold shall be seen in stream and stone, In land that is yet unknown."

  • note:  "a great man" might refer to the Bible prophecy that King David would sit on the Throne of Israel (USA) in the end times, which is now and who was the reincarnation of George W. Bush. Airplanes and moderns ships,   and the Gold Rush in America.

  • "And England shall admit a Jew, Do you think this strange? But it is true! The Jew that once was led in scorn, Shall of a Christian then be born."

  • note: the establishment of Israel in 1948 by the British Empire.

  • "A house of glass shall come to pass, In England. But alas, alas!
    A war will follow with the work Where dwells the pagan and the Turk."

  •   note; Describes the building of a gigantic glass atrium in London called The Crystal Palace for The Great Exhibition of 1851. It was a huge iron Goliath with a million feet of glass housing over 13,000 exhibits. It was destroyed by fire November 30, 1936. The rest could describe any number of British wars or adventures in the Mid and Far East after that, and the massive expansion of the British Empire under German Queen Victoria Hapsburg. The Afghan, Indian and Boer wars.

  • "These states will lock in fiercest strife, And seek to take each other’s life. When north shall thus divide the south An eagle build in lion’s mouth Then tax and blood and cruel war Shall come to every humble door."

  • note: the Civil War of the United States of America.

  • "Three times shall lovely sunny France Be led to play a bloody dance. Before the people shall be free Three tyrant rulers shall she see."

  • "Three rulers in succession be Each springs from different dynasty. Then when the fiercest strife is done.

  • England and France shall be as one."

  • note: the French dictators who by Revolution were removed, and later Britain and France allied against Germany in the WW1 and WW2.

  • "The British olive shall next then twine, In marriage with a German vine. Men walk beneath and over streams Fulfilled shall be their wondrous dreams."

  • note: Queen Victoria and Prince Albert were German, named Hapsburg, who changed their name to Windsor.

  • "For in those wondrous far off days, The women shall adopt a craze To dress like men, and trousers wear And to cut off all their locks of hair. They’ll ride astride with brazen brow, As witches do on broomsticks now."

  • Note: women acting like men under the argument of equality, instead of freedom from oppression.

  • "And roaring monsters with men atop, Does seem to eat the verdant crop. And men shall fly as birds do now, And give away the horse and plow."

  • note: crop harvester machines. Airplanes, cars.

  • "They’ll be a sign for all to see Be sure that it will certain be.

  • Then love shall die and marriage cease And nations wane as babes decrease.

  • And wives shall fondle cats and dogs And men live much the same as hogs."

  • note: this certainly describes today, where divorce and abortion rule the day: women call their pets their kids, and men spend more time in bars or with their friends getting drunk and roaring about sports games.

  •

Mother Shipton’s next prophecies continue on the outer wrappings of the scrolls.

  • "I know I go, I know I’m free, I know that this will come to be, Secreted this, for this will be Found by later dynasty."

  • "A dairy maid, a bonnie lass, Shall kick this tome as she does pass And five generations she shall breed Before one male child does learn to read."

  • note: this would be the time passing before the prophecies were to be read and understood.

  • This is then held year by year, Till an iron monster trembling fear, Eats parchment, words and quill and ink, And mankind is given time to think.

  • note: seeming to describe the printing press and the age of information.

  • "And only when this comes to be Will mankind read this prophecy. But one man sweets another’s bain So I shall not have burned in vain."

  • note: where one man will love to understand her prophecies, another man will despise it.

Mother Shipton’s next set of prophecies were found on a scroll in another jar.

  • "The signs will be there for all to read;
    When man shall do most heinous deed Man will ruin kinder lives;
    By taking them as to their wives.
    And murder foul and brutal deed:
    When man will only think of greed.
    And man shall walk as if asleep;
    He does not look – he may not peep And iron men the tail shall do;
    And iron cart and carriage too."
  • note: similar to the time of Noah when mankind was more interested in the "giving and taking in marriage" meaning more interested in dating and relationships.  The "greed"...and... "murder foul" seems to describe today. The "Man shall walk as if asleep" might describe drugs, where many people are drug addicts, both from legal and illegal drugs. "He does not look, he may not peep" describes "political correctness" where people are unwilling to speak up any more.
  • "The king shall false promise make;
    And talk just for talking’s sake.
    And nations plan horrific war;
    The like as never seen before.
    And taxes rise and lively down;
    And nations wear perpetual frown."
  • note: all the politicians lying and raisng taxes, causing difficulty with the people to live free.
  • "Yet greater sign there be to see;
As man nears latter century.
Three sleeping mountains gather breath, And spew out mud, ice and death. An earthquake swallow town and town;
In lands as yet to me unknown. And Christian one fights Christian two And nations sigh, yet nothing do. And yellow men great power gain;
From a mighty bear with whom they’ve lain."
note: the "Yellow Men", is China, and the "Mighty Bear" is Russia.  A land unknown seems to describe America, where later the many denominations constantly argue. Volcanic eruptions like Mount Saint Helens in Washington state describes the "sleeping mountains gather breath", etc.
  • "These mighty tyrants will fail to do, They fail to split the world in two. But from their acts a danger bred;
    An ague, leaving many dead."
  • note:  "ague" Definition: NOUN 1: archaic: "malaria or some other illness involving fever and shivering, or a shivering fit."  These two nations fail to divide their control of the world between two of them.

  • "And physics find no remedy;
    For this is worse than leprosy.
    Oh many signs for all to see;
    The truth of this true prophecy."
  •

Mother Shiptons Final prophecy:

  • "In nineteen hundred and twenty-six Build houses light of straw and sticks. For then shall mighty wars be planned And fire and swords shall sweep the land."

  • note:at the beginng of the 19th century, when houses were build more from wood than bricks in America,  the ancient Lord system of Feudal Europe rose again in America with the United Nations, through then President Woodrow Wilson. Soon after there were constant wars to secure the power by these Feudal families (German and Persian based) over weak nations. This battle continues to this day.

  • "When pictures seem alive with movements free, When boats like fishes swim beneath the sea. When men like birds shall scour the sky. Then half the world, deep drenched in blood shall die."

  • note: Describing TV's, computer videos, submarines, airplanes, and a Third World War where half the population dies in nuclear blasts.

  • "For those who live the century through In fear and trembling this shall do. Flee to the mountains and the dens To bog and forest and wild fens."

  • note: this seems to describe the end of the 20th century with the many wars and technology explosion. At the beginning of the next millenium, after the year 2000, people would begin to seek refuge from further destruction.

  • "For storms will rage and oceans roar When Gabriel stands on sea and shore, And as he blows his wondrous horn Old worlds die and new be born."

  • note: Revelations 20 & 21 seems to describe this calamity.

  • "A fiery dragon will cross the sky Six times before the earth shall die. Mankind will tremble and frightened be For the six heralds in this prophecy."

  • note: this seems to describe a passing meteor which will affect the earth's graviation for seven days and cause havoc in the interm, the worst portion would be from it's end of the close pass when after the tail of the meteor with it's energy causes a reverse of the gravitational draw, pushing textonic plates in the opposite direction.

  • "For seven days and seven nights Man will watch this awesome sight. The tides will rise beyond their ken. To bite away the shores and then The mountains will begin to roar And earthquakes split the plain to shore."

  • note: this seems to describe a passing meteor. It does not describe a crashing meteor, but a powerful magnetic effect by a large meteor passing nearby the planet, possibly what is today referred to as Planet X, which seems to be a planet in our solar system which has a very large orbital path that is only seen possibly after many thousands of years. This might have been the same cause of the Great Flood in Noah's day when the tectonic plate sunk and drowned the approximately 50,000 people on the planet at that time, while Noah and his family survived this with his ship with family and livestock with large food storage aboard.

  • "And flooding waters rushing in, Will flood the lands with such a din That mankind cowers in muddy fen And snarls about his fellow men."

  • note: this would be from the magnetic draw by a metor passing close by the planet.

  • "He bares his teeth and fights and kills And secrets food in secret hills And ugly in his fear, he lies To kill marauders, thieves and spies."

  • note: even today there are many survivalist groups who believe they would kill to save their food source.

  • "Man flees in terror from the floods And kills, and rapes and lies in blood And spilling blood by mankind’s hand Will stain and bitter many lands."

  • "And when the dragon’s tail is gone Man forgets and smiles and carries on. To apply himself – too late, too late For mankind has earned deserved fate."

  • "His masked smile, his false grandeur, Will serve the gods their anger stir And they will send the dragon back To light the sky—his tail will crack. Upon the earth and rend the earth And man shall flee, king, lord and serf."

  • "But slowly they are routed out To seek diminishing water spout And men will die of thirst before The oceans rise to mount to the shore. And lands will crack and rend anew Do you think it strange? It will come true!"

  • note: a powerful magnet force from a passing meteor would lift up and move the planet tectonic plates and move waters and shift river flows, causing thirst for lack of fresh water.

  • "And in some far—off distant land Some men—Oh, such a tiny band Will have to leave their solid mount And span the earth, those few to count."

  • note: those who had lived in survival centers in America would repopulate the planet. The Book of Revelations says this

  • "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

    And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

    And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

    And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." ... Revelations 21:2-4

  • "Who survives this (unreadable) and then begin the human race again.
    But not on land already there, But on ocean beds, stark, dry and bare."

  • "Not every soul on earth will die, As the dragon’s tail goes sweeping by, Not every land on earth will sink, But these will wallow in stench and stink, Of rotting bodies of beast and man, Of vegetation crisped on land."

  • note: it has been said by the holy spirits in prayer seances that ten percent of the world population would survive and that America would survive.

  • "But the land that rises from the sea Will be dry and clean and soft and free. Of mankind’s dirt and therefore be, The source of man’s new dynasty. And those that live will ever fear The dragon’s tail for many year But time erases memory You think it strange? But it will be!"

  • Note: The Bible, book of Revelations refers to this: (Revelations 21:1) "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

    And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away".:.....end of bible quote

  • "And before the race is built anew, A silver serpent comes to view And spew out men of like unknown. To mingle with the earth now grown Cold from its heat and these men can Enlighten the minds of future man. To intermingle and show them how To live and love and thus endow The children with the second sight A natural thing so that they might Grow graceful, humble and when they do The Golden Age will start anew."

  • Note:  Christ's return from Heaven in the silver disks we so often see and call aliens. Yes these are aliens, but from a higher sphere, not from another planet. There are also aliens coming from lower spheres known as demons and there have been some people who have contacted these evil aliens. Second site refers to clairvoyance and spiritual gifts of communication with the holy angels of Heaven.

  • "The dragon’s tail is but a sign For mankind’s fall and man’s decline. And before this prophecy is done I shall be burned at the stake, at One. My body singed and my soul set free.

  • You think I utter blasphemy? You’re wrong! These things have come to me THIS PROPHECY WILL COME TO BE!"
