During remarks at a National Black Republican

Council Dinner in 1982, President Reagan said,

“Let us prove again that America can truly be a

promised land, a land where people of  every race, creed, and

background can live together in freedom, harmony, and prosperity.”

This is the fulfillment of the will of God in the Old Testament to Israel:

" “When a stranger sojourns with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong. You shall treat the stranger who sojourns with you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God." (Leviticus 19:33)

 and:  "  (Deuteronomy 4:40)? In Deuteronomy 4:40 the Lord gave the Israelites this command: “Keep his decrees and commands, which I am giving you today, so that it may go well with you and your children after you and that you may live long in the land the Lord your God gives you for all time.”

Amos 9:14-15

  "I will restore the fortunes of my people Israel, and they shall rebuild the ruined cities and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and drink their wine, and they shall make gardens and eat their fruit. I will plant them on their land, and they shall never again be uprooted out of the land that I have given them,” says the Lord your God.

Ezekiel 36:24

"I will take you from the nations and gather you from all the countries and bring you into your own land."

Romans 11:24 

"For if you were cut from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and grafted, contrary to nature, into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, the natural branches, be grafted back into their own olive tree. " - meaning the blessings of God restored to Israel if they change their thinking and return to God's statutes, as the Founding Fathers of USA had followed.
